nAI automation in 2026: which business workflow should come first?
nAI adoption should start with a repeated, measurable and reviewable workflow, not with a model comparison.
The 2026 business context
nEurostat reports that 20% of EU enterprises used AI in 2025, up from 13.5% in 2024. Written-language analysis was the most common business use. Documents, messages, customer questions and internal knowledge are therefore practical starting points.
nChoose a bounded workflow
nA good first use case repeats often, has accessible data and produces an output that a person can verify. An AI agent may plan steps and use approved tools, but business use requires permissions, logs, limits and human approval for risky actions.
nMeasure the business case
nRecord people affected, weekly manual hours, loaded hourly cost, error rate and lead time before the pilot. Measure the same indicators after launch. The goal is safely released capacity, not automation for its own sake.
nStart with evidence
nA narrow pilot using real data and explicit success criteria is more useful than a generic demo. Explore AI automation and agents, enterprise RAG and the ROI calculators.
